Shell House
There’s a lot I like about this house. It takes great advantage of the topography and allows a semi-circular view of the valley below and the mountains in the distance. There are problems with the design. For an owner built home it has construction issues and it will not expand gracefully.If expansion wasn’t necessary for resale AND I could afford to hire someone to do the parts I wouldn’t be able to do on my own, this would be a great design for a retired couple (us).
